How Are You Coming With Your Real Estate Videos On The Web

Web video isn't just "cool," it's a great way to reach today's buyers and sellers

My CyberStars(tm) just had a very successful online Webinar on creating videos for online sites. CyberStar(tm) Alan Mah led our session, and we learned a number of techniques to improve their videos.

Why would these top agents spend time learning how to create professional-looking videos and the "tricks of the trade" for posting them on sites such as YouTube and MySpace?  Because they are already brining them business, especially when they promote the fact that they are on the Web and post them to their own sites.

Why is this working?  Because of two factors:

* Today’s consumer goes to such sites as YouTube, MySpace, MSN and others for information on all sorts of things…such as real estate.  If you are not there, you are missing out on a valid market.

* The number of visitors to video sites is astounding and is a relatively untapped market. Here are some stats to back this up: Google/YouTube.com had 237+ million visits in December, 2007; Yahoo had 42+ million visits in December; MySpace had 32+ million visits in December.

You might take a moment and look at these examples from just a few of my CyberStars(tm):

Jay Burnham, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Beverly, MA. You can see Jay’s YouTube promotional video here and his "Sampling of Homes" video here.

Alan Mah, Park Georgia Realty Ltd., Vancouver, British Columbia. One of Alan’s home selling tip videos is here.

Sam Miller, RE/MAX Stars Realty, Mt. Vernon, OH. Sam’s promotional YouTube video is here.

If you check out the videos, you’ll see what top agents, agents who realize that the "old" marketing sources have been replaced by new, Web-based methods.

Hopefully, you’re sold on learning how to create videos and post them.  Your business will benefit if you do!

It’s a beautiful (snowy) day here on the lake in Reston…hope it’s a beautiful day wherever you are, too!
