The majority of agent sites are woefully lacking when it comes to showcaing teir listings....here are a couple of examples that break the barrier!

As many of you know, I revew agent Web sites ($395 for a 1 - 1.5 hour session online where we go through your site page by page making it better).  I’ve reviewed hundreds of sites, and perhaps the biggest weakness of most sites is that they don’t show off listings well.  Too many have one picture or a few photos, no neighborhood information, no downloadable property information, etc.

Here are a couple of sites, however, that really perform a service for the sellers by showing the property completely and providing relevant information for those interested in the home.  Each agent is a member of my CyberStars(r), top agents who use today’s technology to dominate their market.

http://tinyurl.com/3ex987, CyberStar(r) Jay Burnham, Beverly, MA.  Jay has done a very nice job of showing this listing, starting with large photos and including a photo gallery, a professional looking "home movie," property details, an aerial map and 10 additional smaller photos.  He includes links for a map and directions, a link for information on Beverly, a link for property searches and daily listing updates, the ability for the viewer to print a listing flyer and a "request a showing" link.  In short, his treatment of this listing is superb!  Lots of great fetaures on Jay’s Web site, which you can see here.

http://tinyurl.com/2r4mzx, CyberStar(r) Chris Laurence, Front Royal, VA.  Scroll down to Chris’s listing on  William Vincent Road to see how this fine agent  gets business from both buyers and sellers with his treatment of listings.  He always includes  complete feature information,  a virtual tour (nicely done  using VisualTour.com.), a link to a photo sheet for those who prefer photos to a virtual tour,  a link to plat, tax map and floorplans,  a link to Google  maps,  a  downloadable flyer and more.  Chris’s site is "home made" and  can be viewed here.

www.4833KingsRd.com, CyberStars(r) Henri & Jeri Gutner, Doylestown, PA.  This listing site is an example of the excellent AgencyLogic Power Sites….easy as pie to "fill in the blanks," and a very effective listing treatment.  A majority of my CyberStars(r) use them.  This site includes complete property information, full details, a photo tour, a property map with 20 photos, downloadable print brochure, school information, area amenities, a virtual tour (again by VisualTour.com, the overwhelming virtual tour choice of the CyberStars(r), and more.

Here’s my point: each of these three listing treatments is different, each show the property and area to their greatest advantage, and each is far superior to the majority of lsting treatments on most agent sites.  You have many options for showcasing your listings…..use them!
