Using PDF's, eFax, ZipForms and his computer lets this Virginia agent make money while on the road!

   Here’s a story from one of my CyberStars(r), Chris Laurence of RE/MAX Choice, Front Royal, VA, that serves as a great example of how he and the other CyberStars(r) use today’s technology to dominate their marketplaces:

"Just before our CyberStar(r) Summit in January, I showed some homes to a buyer from MD.  A few days later, while I was at the Summit, he called me to say he wanted to put an offer on one of them, which was actually my own listing.  This home is in Front Royal, VA, but the owners had already relocated to Dayton, OH. 

"That evening, I put together the offer using Zipforms and emailed it as a PDF to the buyer in MD.  He signed it and faxed it the next morning to my eFax (as a PDF).  I emailed the PDF to my sellers in OH.  That evening I spoke to the sellers, who confirmed they were accepting the offer. They signed it off, and next morning faxed it back to my eFax (again, received as a PDF).  I emailed the PDF of the ratified contract back to the buyer. 

"So now I had a ratified contract, with a property in VA, sellers in OH, buyer in MD, and all the time this was happening, I was in San Antonio…and NO paper was generated on my desk at all.  In fact, the only reason I subsequently had to print it out when I returned home was because the rules still dictate that a paper copy is held by the Broker. 

"This isn’t the only time this has happened, but the difference here was that I also was absent from the area!  I regularly turn an original paper offer into a PDF (using one of my two ScanSnaps!) and after that everything is emailed or eFaxed without "touching the sides.’ 

"I hope this illustration of technology saving time and money will be helpful to others."
